LITTLE BOOK. BIG IMPACT.®
Six Weeks to a Market-Ready Book Concept
Are you mystified about the book-writing process?
Want to develop a nonfiction book you can pitch to agents?
Or self-publish your book?
You already know that authorship gives you credibility. But . . . .
Where do you begin?
What do you write about?
Who would want to read it?
Has your book already been written?
These questions, and so many more, are answered in this 6-week cohort that gives you the tools for writing and the rules of the publishing industry, including self-publishing.
You need the deets to make decisions around your topic, audience, need for your book, and so much more.
You’ll also learn about the first steps to take, the topic to write about, which chapters are written first, and how long a book should be.
What you need is writing support in the form of a small group program, and the camaraderie of other writers who are working on their own book concepts.

✅In depth topics each week
✅Recordings and transcripts of each session
✅Worksheets for your own progress in between sessions

“Write what disturbs you, what you fear, what you have not been willing to speak about. Be willing to be split open.”
— Natalie Goldberg
Paula is the book proposal and writing coach you’ve dreamed of. Within 30 days of proposal completion, three literary agents requested a copy and commented on how well crafted it was. HEAL TO LEAD was published in April, 2024.
Being in a workshop with Paula is like finding a magic door into a world of creative bliss. Her years of business experience and marketing expertise make her a go-to resource.
Paula helped me define my audience, create a story arc, and develop a consistent writing practice. Vastly more important, however, she demystified the world of publishing and opened my eyes to emerging opportunities available through self-publishing. I am now a published author.

So, Who is Paula Diaco?
Hi, I’m Paula Diaco, book coach, editor, and ghostwriter. My clients have been traditionally published and self-published, so I am more than familiar with the book-writing process and how to write a book proposal that catches an agent’s attention.
I come from a writing family and background and you can read more about me on my About Me page.
My philosophy about writing is simple: Anyone can write when given an opportunity and guidance. Most of my clients are writing a book for the first time, and may not even write otherwise.
I see what they know and can accomplish with their writing, and help them enhance their prose with gentle suggestions.
Many of my clients want to know how to publish their book, and this is the first thing I go over with them. Why? Because if you want to traditionally publish a book, you have to write a proposal, so we do that. If you want to self-publish your book, I help you write it after we’ve built a foundation of known facts, all of which you’ll learn in this cohort.
You will leave with a roadmap for success – whether you decide to write a manuscript or a book proposal.
FAQS: Common questions about LITTLE BOOK. BIG IMPACT.
1. Will I write my full book in six weeks?
No. This is not a drafting sprint. You will build the strategic foundation of your book — audience, hook, need, positioning, competition, and marketing — so that when you write, you write with clarity and direction.
2. Is this only for traditional publishing?
No. The work strengthens both paths. If you pursue a traditional publisher, you will leave with proposal-ready language. If you self-publish, you will write from a position of strategic alignment rather than guesswork.
3. What if my idea is still forming?
That is precisely when this program is most valuable. We refine, pressure-test, and sharpen concepts before time is invested in drafting.
4. How much time should I expect to commit?
Plan for the live session each week plus 2–4 hours of focused worksheet and thinking time. This is deep work, not passive content consumption.
5. Why limit the cohort to eight people?
Because this is discussion-based and developmental. Each participant receives direct feedback, refinement, and strategy.
6. Is this a writing workshop?
No. This is strategic book development. We build the intellectual and market architecture that supports a serious nonfiction book.
If you intend to write a nonfiction book that carries professional weight, this is the work that makes it possible.
